In conjunction with the local artists’ Art & Craft Sale, we’re holding our second Mount
Shasta Chalk Festival! The 16th century Italian tradition of artists creating chalk paintings
on the ground is a first in Mt. Shasta. This ephemeral art is intended to be seen by the
public and then washed away! We invite kids and adults, practicing artists and those just
practicing, to be a part of this endeavor!
